We use competition as a tool to help teach our students about work ethic, commitment, and exposure to other dance studios and styles.
Competitive experience has proven to be an opportunity to build confidence in performance as well as for the student's life outside of dance.
Our main focus educationally for the students is to ensure they grow as a dancer and person. Appropriate goals and challenges are naturally presented throughout the season as opportunities for the dancers to grow.

Interest Meeting!
We'll be hosting a Q&A and informational meeting for those interested in joining our 2025-2026 Company Team on Saturday, May 31 at 2:30 p.m. in the Torrence Room.
Please fill out the questionnaire linked below so we can best meet you and your dancer's needs for this upcoming year.
We invite all parents of current company members as well as those interested in joining to attend. This meeting will cover exciting new changes for the upcoming year and outline key expectations. Your attendance is highly encouraged so we can ensure everyone is informed and aligned moving forward.
Auditions for the JDA Company Team are held annually in June. Announcements about audition dates, times, and more will be shared out via social media and the JDA Newsletter. Email jessicasdanceacademy@gmail.com with any other questions.
