Meet Ms. Carly

Ms. Carly is a Swansboro local and proud JDA alumna. She is a highly accomplished cheerleader, having started cheer at age 7 with experience at the middle school, high school, and all-star levels. She was named the 3A 3A All-Conference Cheerleader in 2015-2016 and received the NCHSAA Scholar-Athlete Award. Ms. Carly has also coached youth cheerleading for three years.

In addition to cheer, Ms. Carly is also an award-winning dancer and choreographer. She began her dance career at age 8 attending Jessica's Dance Academy where she also spent 5 years competing as a member of the JDA Company. She's previously taught both hip hop and jazz at JDA and is excited to make her return as teacher.

Ms. Carly graduated from Carteret Community College and Pitt Community College with an Associate Degree in Applied Science with a degree in Radiography, Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging. In addition to teaching dance at JDA, she is also a CT Scan Technologist at Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune and Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
