Meet Ms. Amelia

Ms. Amelia is a proud JDA alumna, studying under Ms. Jess, Ms. Danaë, Ms. Sarah, Ms. Ariana, Ms. Burch, and Ms. Nadine. She also competed as a member of the JDA Company, earning high placements and accolades for her performances. Prior to joining our teaching staff, Ms. Amelia worked as a Teaching Assistant at JDA and also led multiple summer ballet intensives. She has over 15 years of dance experience, with extensive training in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, and pointe. Ms. Amelia is an advocate for professional development in the dance field, attending master classes, regional conventions, and continuing education classes to hone her skills as a dancer and instructor. In addition to teaching at JDA, Ms. Amelia is also working towards an Associates in Business Administration and Baking and Pastry Arts at Carteret Community College.
